The ZerOcel Vaporless Fuel Cell System is centered around an exterior hard-shell fuel tank consisting of a rigid outer shell that encases a double-walled, flexible bladder. The outer shell is constructed of a durable, non-corroding, shatterproof polymer that will not splinter into shards upon impact. The double-walled bladder is made of a pliable composite material that is impermeable to M.T.B.E. fuel, and has been used by the mlitary due to its strength, puncture resistance, and ability to withstand temperature extremes and inherent glame resistance. The space between these two walls is filled with Actic Fire Freeze.Here's how the system works... When fuel is introduced into the empty system, the bladder expands and conforms to the amount of fuel it receives. This unique double-bladder works with gravity as it empties. As fuel is consumed and the volume in the bladder decreases, the double-bladder continuously contracts, ever conforming to the amount of fuel remaining. Air space is eliminated along with its subsequent hazards. This results in a remarkably safe, highly efficient, ventless fuel storage system. Even when empty and most vulnerable, there is never any vapor created in the tank, thereby extensively reducing a potentially hazardous situation. |
